Welcome!
Welcome to my new blog! As is the norm with my procrastinating self, I had intended to start writing a blog about this underdog of a city and my experiences living in it when I first moved here two months ago. Valencia and all the boxes I had to tick and forms I had to fill in had other notions.
The last couple of weeks have been adventurous, hectic and stressful but they have also given me an increasing sense of pride in myself and my abilities to deal with bureaucracy and red tape through limited Spanish, find myself a place to live, a job and a sense of self in the madness of this little city. These few weeks have also encouraged me to look around at all the amazing buildings, markets, views, food and adventures that are to be had in Valencia.
This blog is about my experiences living, working and teaching in Valencia. I hope you enjoy it!
Happy reading!
